Abstract

The purpose of this editorial is to investigate the role of the university in global change, taking into consideration the challenges brought by COVID-19 and the new social scenarios. The university in Peru and in the world has great responsibilities as a generator of social change, which will be explained in the following lines. Education, at all levels, is considered a key factor for the generation of higher income, mobility and social welfare.
