Abstract

Externally caused injuries are defined as damage to the human body caused by external factors, such as accidents, violence, or intentional injuries. Globally, externally caused injuries constitute a major public health problem. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), more than 5 million people die each year due to externally caused injuries, and many others suffer non-fatal injuries that can have long-term consequences for their health and well-being.
