6. Complaints and Appeals
Authors, reviewers, and readers may submit complaints, observations, or appeals by:
• General email: revistadesafios@udh.edu.pe
All complaints will be treated confidentially, seriously, and promptly, following COPE protocols.
7. Sanctions
• Minor offenses: Excessive self-citations, unjustified inclusion of authors. - Notification and exhortation.
• Serious offenses: Plagiarism, data manipulation, double publication. - Immediate withdrawal of the article, notification to the author's institution, and publication of an editorial note.
8. Publication Costs
The journal does not charge authors fees for submission, evaluation, or publication of articles. Reviewers are also not financially compensated.
II. Declaration of Malpractice in Publication
The following are considered malpractice:
• Plagiarism.
• Fabrication or falsification of data.
• Manipulation of results.
• Redundant or duplicate publication.
• Manipulation of the editorial process.
• Unjustified inclusion of authors.
• Excessive use of self-citations.
The editorial committee will apply proportional sanctions:
• Minor violations: warning and request for correction.
• Serious violations: rejection, retraction, notification to the home institution, and possible publication of an editorial note denouncing the conduct.
