Objective. This study was carried out in order to determine the relationship between personnel recruitment and human talent management at the Hospital Regional Hermilio Valdizán in Huánuco. Methods. This is a quantitative research, with a descriptive correlational observational level and design (non-experimental). A questionnaire was used to collect data from thirty-two (32) participants in order to obtain results of the study variables. Results. A relational value of 0.265 was found, which evidences the presence of a positive relationship of low intensity, according to Pearson's test. Conclusions. There is a relationship between personnel recruitment and human talent management at the Hospital Regional Hermilio Valdizán in Huánuco.
