Objective. The objective of the research was to determine the relationship between economic policy measures and the education sector during the COVID-19 pandemic in the Huánuco region, 2021. Methods. A quantitative approach, transactional correlational design was used and two observation guides were applied as instruments to measure both variables, each with a total of 14 items, which were validated by expert judgment and the reliability test with Cronbach's alpha. The sample was random and consisted of 72 teachers from the basic education sector in the Huánuco region. Results. The results show that there is a relationship between economic policy measures and the education sector during the COVID-19 pandemic in the Huánuco region, 2021, with a reliability parameter of 95 % using Pearson's chi-square test. The asymptotic significance (bilateral) resulted 0.00 < 0.05, with a Cronbach's alpha of alfa = 0.95, so the alternate hypothesis was accepted and the null hypothesis rejected. Conclusion. In view of the results obtained, it is concluded that there is a relationship between economic policy measures and the education sector during the COVID-19 pandemic in the Huánuco region, 2021
