Focus and scope

The Revista Peruana de Ciencias de la Salud is the official publication of the Vice Rectorate of Research of the Universidad de Huánuco, aimed at disseminating knowledge related to public and collective health, health education, health research and health sciences. It is published in one volume per year with four quarterly issues and is peer-reviewed by external blind peers. It is distributed in electronic format, with free access to full text, through its web page: http://revistas.udh.edu.pe/index.php/RPCS.
The instructions for the submission of articles to the Journal follow the recommendations of the Uniform Recommendations for the Conduct, Reporting, Editing, and Publication of Scholarly work in Medical Journals published by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE). (http://www.icmje.org/).

The Revista Peruana de Ciencias de la Salud is a quarterly open access publication that seeks to create an academic space that promotes research and scientific debate among authors, editors and readers from different parts of the world around public and collective health, health education, health research and, in general, the field of knowledge of health sciences.

The objective of the Revista Peruana de Ciencias de la Salud to disseminate scientific knowledge through original results, product of scientific research that represent a contribution to the development in the areas of health. The Journal includes works, products of scientific research or theoretical and practical reflections that, due to their relevance, deserve to be published, thus contributing to make visible the intellectual production around health.
