Resiliencia como protección del estrés parental en familias con niños con trastornos del neurodesarrollo: una revisión sistemática

El estrés parental experimentado en familias con niños con trastornos del neurodesarrollo representa un factor importante para la salud mental y el bienestar familiar, debido a las elevadas demandas de cuidado asociadas al mismo. En este sentido, la resiliencia se muestra como un recurso protector frente a los efectos del estrés. El objetivo fue realizar una revisión sistemática de la literatura acerca del papel protector de la resiliencia, sus mecanismos y factores asociados, así como sus implicaciones para la intervención psicológica y psicoeducativa. Se utilizó la guía PRISMA, realizando búsquedas en las bases de datos Scopus y Web of Science. Una vez aplicados los criterios de inclusión y exclusión, fueron seleccionados 24 estudios empíricos, publicados en el periodo 2015-2025, predominantemente cuantitativos, no experimentales y de diseño transversal, elaborados principalmente en contextos europeos y asiáticos. Los resultados indican altos niveles de estrés parental asociados a problemas de conducta, autorregulación y falta de autonomía de los hijos. La resiliencia está asociada negativamente con el estrés parental, estando relacionada con variables, tales como el apoyo social, la regulación emocional y la autoeficacia parental.
