Organizational climate and work stress in the medical staff of an Lima hospital

Aim. Determine the relationship between the organizational climate and work stress in the medical staff of a Lima hospital. Methods. The study was descriptive, observational, cross-sectional with a quantitative and correlational approach, not experimental. The sample was made up of 76 doctors from a Lima hospital, to whom a survey was conducted in which the degree of relationship between the organizational climate and work stress was measured. Results. The sample was made up of 76 doctors, of which 53 (69.7%) were men and 23 (30.3%) were women. A significant, positive and strong relationship was evident between the organizational climate and each of the dimensions of work stress. Conclusions. There is a significant, positive and strong relationship between the organizational climate and each of the dimensions of work stress in the medical staff of a Lima hospital.
